Umnumzaan or small wood inlay Sebenza

Should I go for the Umnumzaan or a small wood inlay Sebenza? This purchase will be a long way down the road. I was looking for desert ironwood, but will go for most any wood. I would like to get a large wood inlay Sebenza too, but that is much further down the road. Discontinued Classics or 21's, doesn't matter. The Umnumzaan will probably be carried like my SMF, when I decide I WANT to carry a big bruiser ;). The small wood inlay will be a pal to my Mnandi. I had a large cocobolo Seb, why I traded that I'll never know:grumpy:.

Large and small micarta models are already in my rotation.

Ultimately, I will get all three.:)

Decisions, decisions . . . If you were looking for something that was discontinued, I would have said scarcity would have driven my decision. That not being the case, I'd personally let variety be the predominate factor. If I were in your shoes, I'd have an Umnumzaan order placed :D.
 
I'd go for a wood inlayed Sebbie anytime.

I personally would go for the Umnumzaan, but I am partial to it now.

You WILL get an Umnumzaan at some point!! It is just a matter of which one you will get first.

The only thing I like better than spending my own money (which I obviously enjoy more than is fiscally responsible :o) is helping other people spend theirs . . .
 
Personally, it would be the Umnumzaan just to see if it really is the best new folder from a 'Production Company' this year. I have been trying to trade for one but people have wanted way more than the $400 value of a Umnum.

I will just be patient.


SHS you know in the end you will have all of them anyways.

SHS i have yet to purchase the umnumzaan.I have been in the same predictament as you.Which CRK will be my next purchase.Will it be in my edc rotation or a collectable?I had decided to go with the regular small wood inlay,my mind was made up.I've seen some wood inlays on the forum for sale and i nearly pulled the trigger on it.Than what happened, i saw a beautiful mammoth ivory mnandi on plaza cutlery and i put it on layaway.:DThis is just my humble opinion any inlays needs to have character.Just look at RNST collection .Patiences will always pay off in the long run.One day i'm hoping to purchase a small umnumzann.Good luck on your decision and most of all have fun.Peace out bro.

Hey SHS. umnum all the way buddy.....yur a big dude...the small seb is to small for you.

The small seb is perfect for my wife so i pick'em up for her.
 
I have 5 different Large Sebenzas and will surely buy more. I would get the Annual or a discontinued model first. Six months to a year down the road, get the Umnumzaan.
