It will not leave my pocket! :D

Before the Yum-Yum life was good, rotation was good, most all of my higher end knives took a ride in my pocket....

After Umnum-Yummy Yum-Yum :D... It's all Umnum all the time...

Please help, my others knives are looking at me funny, wondering why I don't love them like I use too. :D

Same problem here. I can't seem to put any other knife in my pocket. I just bought my first Sebenza, so we'll see if it can get some time.

GFY!
Can you give the same report a year from now?
This knife-thang is tricky.

I did not want to be one of them guys that said, "the Umnumzaan is BETTER than a sebenza." But the more I carry and use the Umnumzaan, I'm afraid it might just be true :o

Tried to carry my large Micarta three or four times since owning the Yum-Yum:D, and only switched it back out ten mins later :grumpy: Im not sure if it's the look, the super fast action (being it's a stud/stop bar the opening arc is very small making it a very fast opener,) or maybe the semi sharp swedge (use is to cut tape, and other stuff where a sharp knife is not need and the edge might take damage,) maybe it's the washers that stay smooth even if you wash the knife, could also be how well it carries for a med to larger knife... Then again it could be grip that's perfectly grippy without being so grippy it will rip your hands up if you don't have gloves on...

Could be the ergos, or maybe Chris's perfect heat treat.. That will get super sharp super fast, but wil also hold a edge..... Could be the heavy duty pivot that I like... Or maybe the quite stealth opening/locking...

Or ... Well you get the general idea :D

You forgot the part about how it seems to attract fine specimens of the opposite sex. ;)

Sorry:o didn't know that knife was going to cause you such "pain"... your other knives will get over the lack of pants time.

Great, I was all set to order th NFL package with my extra money, now I want an umnumum, hell, I can't even say it...

Get an Umnumzaan today and I'll ask you in a year if you had any regrets about not getting the NFL package. I can almost guarantee that your response will be, "What NFL package?"

I have seven sebbies which I love dearly.

I cannot buy one of those umnummy things for fear of liking it too much.

.............Although if CRK ever releases one with wood inlays I will be first in line

I had an Umnumzaan, but sold it. Don't get me wrong, it is a great knife, and wicked smooth. I just prefer smaller knives, for the most part. It wasn't one of those big knives that I HAVE to have. (I do have other bigger knives.) I DO have 4 Sebbies that I LOVE.

As someone who is expecting his first Umnumzaan tomorrow I thank you dearly SoLo for making the next 24 hours excrutiating with this thread!

Why oh why couldn't you have posted this tomorrow after 3pm when my mail carrier has already come and gone??

Damn, thread-titles like these should be outlawed... :D

I mean, it's impossible for anyone to have a CRK-related problem that CRK wouldn't fix without any hassle. Still, I was worried and clicked...

Glad you all like the Um so much; I for one don't have the "click" yet and will stick to my small Seb for now. Things may change as soon as I've handled one and that possibillity will occur in a month from now at a local knife-show.

For the love of all your "other" CRK's...

Refuse the delivery!!! :D

I just took the lanyard off and it's like experiencing the knife all over again. It keeps fighting with my Emerson Commander stonewash for my attention.

Yep, my old flat grind that I carried since it was new and used ALOT has not been back in my pocket since the day the Umnum went in. I actually didn't think I would like it but....I was wrong! Lol...:D

hrmm. so I've been all forgetful jones lately, is the umnum hollow ground?
