I just recently purchased an Umnumzaan, and while I am extremely happy with it, there is one concern. It did not come with the paperwork, so I'm not entirely sure what year it was made.

I bought a tool kit for it recently but noticed on bag, there was a notice that said something about Umnumzaans prior to September 2010, required a 2mm wrench instead. What are the size differences?

I looked inside the handle scales to find a "A 08" mark. But strangely the hex key seems to fit the screw fine even if the years don't match?

Don't want to strip a screw or anything like that, so I'll run it by you guys first, thanks.

It's only the screw that may have been changed by CRK it has nothing to do with the handle scales them selves. Also the date engraved on the handle scales is rarely if ever the date the knife its self was put together.
I would not worry about it to be honest, just get a set of metric and imperial hex keys you are going to be set either way. :p:thumbup:

If it fits, then no worries. I believe they're 5/64. You can always go to a hardware store too if you're really jonesing to find out.

By the way, you think they'll do a remake of FFVII for the Vita?

Thanks for the replies.

As for FFVII, I don't really care for them to keep remaking the series. As much as I would like it, at a certain point I realize certain things should remain as they are, classics are classics for a reason.
