Umnumzaan Rear Pivot Question

I just received a new pivot style Umnumzaan a few days back. After opening and closing the knife a few times I noticed a distinct rattle. To my suprise the rear pivot pin was loose. This was a brand new fresh from the factory knife. I've contact Heather at CRK for it to be looked at. I have no question that I will be taken care of as she has been great so far. My only question, for those of you who own the Umnumzaan, is this normal? Should I have just tightened down the pin? I've had a Sebenza for over 2 years that I never once had to tighten. Here is a picture to describe what I am talking about. Any insight would be helpful.

I would have just tightened it down. Probably not normal but stuff happens and it's an easy fix.

If the new Umnumzaans are the same as the Sebenza 25, there are 2 screws holding the stand-off in, not a screw and barrel like on the older Umnumzaan and Sebenza 21.

If they get loose, just tighten them. The wrenches are in the box.

Yeah that's what I thought, however no wrenches came with mine. Everything but the wrenches. Thanks for the input

I actually just received a phone call directly from heather. They re torqued the screw and it all set. Never did I imagine such great customer and personalized service. Couldn't be happier.

I have one of the newest Umnumzaans (Sept. 2012) and the rear standoff is held with a screw and barrel which looks just like the pivot of a Seb 21 (minus the bushing).

Zaans do not come with any tools but the hex wrench for the handle and clip is the same as a Sebenza's.

Even the Umnumzaans with the new pivot do not come with the 2 sized of wrenches, like the 25?

I did not know that. Seems silly that they wouldnt, to be honest.
