Umnumzaan help, really on the fence of ordering a zaan but would love to hold one and feel in person first but no where around to do that. Would anyone be willing and super awesome enough to allow me the generosity of sending me there’s? Would be happy to send something of equal and would gladly pay all shipping, have great feedback and history. Only interested in like a day without using Or carrying kind of like a pass around.

Plenty of supporting dealers will accept a return at the cost of return shipping if you find you dont like a knife. So you would only be out $8 if you dont use the thing and its not for you.

Agreed with both suggestions above, either buy from a dealer (and return if you don't like it) or buy used from the exchange and sell it if you don't like it. Both suggestions are also way easier than begging a kind stranger or friend to let you keep the knife if you end up loving it :D

well I would never keep someone’s property and was trying to avoid being the return guy as retailers already deal with that enough. I’ve seen similar threads where members were ok with it, as I would as well.
No worries

I was making a joke. If you purchase one it's easier to keep it if you like it than to return it and then purchase one.

I don't have one, but counter suggestion. Buy one on the exchange at a reasonable price and re-sell if you don't care for it. You likely won't loose more than the shipping and PP fees. Maybe not even that much.

yup...they don't last long on the Exchange.

You'd likely be able to re-sell for what you paid for it...look at the shipping and fees <if PP> you'd incur as the seller as a small rental fee...

With the route Peter suggested, you have the added benefit of keeping the blade as long as you'd like and have less worry about getting a snail trail on a handle, scuffing the pocket clip, or scratching a blade face.

I'm betting you'd wind up keeping her anyways. ;)

I have seen instances that it has been done, but it could cost you $50-$60 dollars in shipping plus the risk that one of the knives gets lost in transit. If it's the senders knife this could be a real problem. If all goes well you still don't have a knife. A buy through exchange or dealer has less moving parts and there is a more than fair chance you will like it.

^^^ This. Just watch the exchange for one to pop at a good price. Move fast when it happens.

All mine are lefties, if that doesn’t matter send me a pm with your email address.

Your profile says you are in TN. There are 7 dealers in TN listed on the CRK website.

Be upfront with the dealer about your concerns. If they say buy it and try it, then you're good to go if you decide to return. If they have a problem, that's understandable, and move on. Just my 2 cents.
