Umnumzaan sharpening

I have an umnumzaan that ive used for a few different tasks and its time to sharpen it, i was told it was convex, is this right? it doesnt look convex. i only have a set of croc stix and this is my first high end knife. ive been reading and am leaning towards the waterstone or mousepad method. what do yall recommend?

If it' s an original and new Umnumzaan it' s definately NOT convex edged, don' t know who told you that but unless somebody reground it to being convex it will have a regular "V" grind and a Lansky croc stix sharpening system will work fine, especially if you' re not very experienced with sharpening.
