Does anybody know when the Umnumzaan Startac came out for the first time i.e. with the old style pivots? Also, were they also stamped Idaho Made or was this omitted from the first ones like with the regular old style pivot Umnumzaan?

Has anybody seen a fake Umnumzaan Startac with the old style pivot?

If you're looking for authentication, post pics. Clear pics usually tell the tale..usually

The most common tell is torx fasteners. CRK has never used them.
If you buy one from the exchange, you are probably alright. The 'bay is alright if you stick with authorized dealers...but you will likely not find the one you are looking for from an authorized dealer now.
