Hi Everyone,
I've owned five CRK knives. Four Umnumzaans and one Sebenza 25. Of all my knives, this one has been my favorite. (I think I've owned it for almost a year now and I don't baby it or leave it in the safe.) It's been my daily carry piece and I'm so happy with it. I've owned the "regular" spear point models, but really like the Tanto far more because there are so many ways of using this design. You can cut with the tip, the "corner" or spot where the tanto meets the main cutting surface of the blade and the main belly. If you're on the fence about buying a Tanto version of the Umnumzaan, I recommend you try one out!

Beautiful - love marks and all! I've never owned a Tanto blade of any kind. I might have to try one down the road.
 
Ive had a few different sebbies and just picked up a large 21 tanto micarta and I love it! I think it kicked the 25 micarta out the door. It's been very useful since the short time ive owned it. It's got to be the best looking tanto on a folder ive seen. I debated picking up the zaan tanto before getting the 21. Nice looking blade love marks and all [emoji106]
 
If I was going to get an umnumzaan, I would want the tanto. I love the looks and think it looks much better than a tanto sebenza.
 
I just posted this picture in the "what did you do with your sebenza today" thread, but I think it applies here too. I think the umnumzaan looks best in tanto

Looking forward (tomorrow hopefully) to getting my first Tanto in hand tomorrow - my fourth Zaan thus far.
