I'm about to pull the trigger on another Zaan. I just can't seem to find anything else that compares.

I've never been a Tanto guy, but the Tanto version of the Zaan looks just awesome in my opinion. The grind reminds me of one of Jeremy Horton's blades.

I don't think it will be quite as useful as the regular version, but I just may get it anyway.

So what do you think? Will the Tanto get old after a while??

I'd just get it. Even if you aren't in love with it you should be able to sell it here for a small loss. Worth it to be able to try it out. I like that it has a thicker tip than normal.

I bought one and absolutely love it. It does anything my Sebenza will and maybe more. I like the looks of the tanto blade better as well. Try it...I think you'll like it.

I have a regular zaan but would love a tanto. Seems to me it would be very useful and easier to sharpen? Get it.

Once you are used to the flat slicing of the tanto you will not want anything else! I love them.
