Umnumzaan thumb studs made of Ti?

Just wanted to know what the Umnumzaan thumb studs are made out of.
It did not say on the CRK site.

If it is the same as those that is annodized blue, those wears off fairly quick.

I doubt anno on Ti would run so fast.

You're thinking of the thumbstuds on the Sebenza...those are Ti. Thus the blue anno'ed color.

I saw on CRK's site the Sebs are listed as TI, but nothing on the Ums.

The anodised parts are all Ti on CR knives. You can generally only anodise particular non ferrous metals and many of those metals/alloys are not sutable for use as parts in knives etc.

I would presume, as mentioned, the Umnumzaan thumb studs would be 300 series stainless. I don't believe they are Ti.

303 SS makes the most since (if its not Ti) because that is what the other hardware is made from.
