Umnumzaan with inlays

I haven't heard anything. Would be cool with perhaps a micarta inlay as the umnumzaan is more of a workhorse. Would be Cool for sure.

I think that would be a negative. I asked about a damscus balde for the Umnumzaan and they said that that was not the direction the Umnumzaan was intended to go.

it would be cool actually but IMO the ummi should stay clean and easy with no other parts other than those it has

I think the only inlay that would work with the zaan would be a micarta, but with the grooves in the TI scales, it does have plenty of grip. As for Damascus like "Haze" said, I personally would like it. Damascus is a very tough steel and would be right at home on the zaan.

Personally, i dont think the umnum would like right with a bunch of different inlays and such. Now, limited release damascus blades? Yes!

I wouldn't mind seeing the cross hatching pattern continue down both scales further. Other than that I'm happy with my umnumzaan.

I have loved the Umnumzaan since release and always been happy with it. That being said I definitely would not be against a dressed up inlay version

If anyone could figure out how to make an umnumzaan look better, it would be Chris Reeve. I trust his judgement 100% when it comes to design and decoration.

Looking at the knife, I can see a few possibilities for inlays, such as circular inlays, or other shapes... Or micarta inlays could be put over where the grooves are, and the grooves cut into the micarta instead of the titanium.

Just some thoughts...

Can i just have mine silver contrasted in the grooves, that way it can match my Sebenzas........please T.T one big happy family. :p
