How thick is the tip on the umnun compared to a sebbie ? iive read here that

a couple of you guys didnt like the tip to the point that you sold yours. Is it

really that much of as issue ? What about about not being not able to take

it apart without a crk sp. tool ? Do those of you that have an umnun like them

better than a sebbie ? Sorry for so many questions!! Please try to ANSWER AS

MANY OF MY QUESTIONS AS YOU CAN THANX !!

I disassembled my Umnumzaan with toothpics.
Just split two of them in half, hold them in two of the holes on each side and presto! A takedown tool.

If tip strength is a real concern, doesnt sound like you need a folder, but a pry bar. Ive never known CRK to ever make anything that was weak by any means. Knife tips are not made for prying.

I don't like the umnum better than the sebenza, I like it differently than I like the sebenza. the takedown tool is like seven bucks, and if you look around there are sellers who will include one when you purchase the knife. the swedge might make the knife's tip appear a little thinner than the sebenza's, but the blade is thicker overall, and there's plenty of width. if you're worried about breaking the tip, use something else to pry with unless it's an emergency.
