Un-x-ld??

I got a pair of GEC's I really love, carry 'em everyday, so today I show a buddy of mine the 72 Lockback in stag and he really loves it, but he was curious about the shield with the UN-X-LD on the side. Well he knows I'm a knife "guru" (LOL) so he has to ask - What do those letters stand for?

So the "guru" tilts his head and goes "Duh..I dont know". I could google the info but I thought I would ask my fellow knife-heads for the answer, plus I get to share my Duh moment with ya all.

Anybody?

For some reason "Unlimited" pops into my head, but I think that was just me filling in blanks in my head, not from any actual knowledge.
