Unable to contact customer service

Hi everyone,
I have tried to contact Benchmade via their website - without avail.
At first I didn't even get the automated response.
Two weeks later I tried it again , this time they seemed to have got my request but since then I haven't heard anything.

Has someone encountered a problem like that lately?
By the way, I am from Germany so calling them is not an option. Either I am working or fast asleep.

I just sent 3 knives in for maintenance last month and I read here on BF that it was best to call I got a person immediately that told me how to pack and ship and fill out the forms and it was painless. Also I forgot to put a note in my shipping box requesting some extra clips so I sent them an email after the fact the same week and Corrin sent me back one confirming my knives had already been shipped and that they would be in the mail in 7-10 days and the clips after my knives were received showed up within 5 days. They provided great service overall hope this helps.

The problem with sending emails hasn't changed much; I think it's reaching the right person. While making the call, unless you're in Europe, as our friend Daniel says, has always brought a quick response. Number: 800-800-7427.

Their filters may be blocking your e-mail or sending to a spam folder.

I sent you a VM with a direct point of contact. That should get threw.

A VM is a Visitors message. Go to your profile, it should be the third tab at the top. Click and you'll see the message.

I also sent to the e-mail you posted.

I received your e-mail, replied, and forwarded your e-mail (copied you) to Cory at Benchmade customer service after I spoke to her on the phone about your situation. She doesn't handle international customers but assured me she would make sure it goes to the right people.

Daniel, did you receive my reply to your e-mail and the e-mail I forwarded to BM? You posting this here suggests you didn't and why I ask.

ETA: I just sent you two e-mails. One to the e-mail address posted in this thread and one to the e-mail address you provided when you e-mailed me threw my profile. Please reply so I know your e-mail address is working.

Thanks Paul! I just checkef my emails and yes I did get it.
Also I got a reply from Benchmade, saying that they are happy to help me out.
Also they told me this :

"We had some big issues with our email server rejecting any outgoing mail to German email addresses, so I believe that may have been the culprit as to why you were not receiving a response.."

So that is why ...

Thanks for helping Daniel out Paul. Software errors in translation or Spam blocking were my thoughts. Happy Holidays! :thumbup:
 
This should be renamed to "Unwilling to use the phone as a phone". Why don't people call companies any more? WTF?

I don't think the OP was unwilling to call, More so the difficulties presented by a nine hour time difference.
 
David, there are many of us in the knife community that lives in different time zone. My time would never be able to cooperate with Benchmade opening hours which is why my only way to go is Email
