Unable to post or reply from Firefox browser

I have a Platinum membership. I normally use the Mozilla Firefox browser (60.0.1, 64 bit) in Windows 7. I applied the current Firefox update a couple of days ago.

Since then I am unable to post or reply to postings. I am also unable to PM anybody. I can enter a header, but the window where one enters text does not let me enter anything. The Send fails because there is no content.

I'm posting this problem using the Chrome browser, and it seems to work ok, which tells me that the problem involves the interaction of the new Firefox and the Bladeforums software. (This Firefox update came out about a week ago, but I waited a while to apply it.)

I haven't had any other problems with Firefox. I'm hoping that one of the Bladeforums tech support persons can look into this and try to find a fix. It's not convenient for me to use Chrome all the time, and I'm sure there are many other BF members who also use Firefox and might be having this same problem. (A person who only has Firefox would have no way to post to this subforum, and no way to PM a moderator, unless he happens to have an external email address.)
 
I am using the exact browser and windows you are using, mine is ok.
Maybe you have a weird setting in firefox.
 
I'm wondering if anyone else has had to switch to a different browser because of the problem I described above with Mozilla Firefox. The problem appeared after I updated Firefox, and I've done another update since, and the problem is still there. I haven't changed any settings in Firebox, and I don't see any settings that seem in any way related.

I'm glad that some people are able to post to Bladeforums using Firefox, but I'd like to know if anyone else can not post to BF using Firefox.
 
The newest Windows update changed some settings in some programs it may be something got changed with that update ... I had to reset sound and security and a few other things ...

Did you have symptoms similar to mine: Inability to post to Bladeforums through Mozilla Firefox, but can post with other browsers?
 
I didn't try Firefox I could post on Edge or Chrome ... but I just wondered if it might have messed up some settings on your Firefox ... it made some changes on several programs I had to go reset the way I wanted ... I know some people had to uninstall and reinstall Firefox to get the browser to work right.
 
Ctrl+Shift+delete (press all three keys at once), time range to clear "everything", tick all boxes and then click clean now (exit browser and try again). You have any addons in firefox, if you do you can disable them and see if that changes anything and then enable one by one to see which on it is. Also you can go into options and check your privacy and history settings to see if tracking protection got enabled or if one of the settings like cookies has been unchecked. Firefox also has a refresh setting in case nothing else works you can try that. Help>trouble shooting>refresh firefox (think it will remove all current settings and start from scratch). If you can't find it go to the three horizontal lines in the upper right corner of your browser, click on that then the question mark bottom right.
