Unable to respond to PM's

I'm trying to respond to some PM's and it is taking very long to send, then it shows a page cannot be displayed or error page.

I've tried on both Google Chrome and the latest version of Internet Explorer.

Are they very lengthy messages?

Yes, could this be the cause?

There is only one quote, but it's very very lengthy altogether.

Edit - I just tried without the quote and it still didn't send.

Yes sometimes a message or post if it's very lengthy it causes that type of problem.

I sent a short message to confirm that was the issue. Then broke the lengthy message into two parts and it worked fine.
