Unable to search on forum

Why can't I search on this forum? If I do that, or if I click "today's posts" link, I meet the message:

Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

What should I do?

sorry to have to be the one to tell you. Only paying members get the search function.
 
They used to let everyone use the search function, but with over 126,000 members searching almost 5.5 million posts, the lag was killing us. You can still use Google to search the site without having to ante up ten bucks a year for a basic membership.
 
Nice little search shortcut you've got there, Tinbasher. That'll make searching BF a whole lot quicker. :thumbup:

We really don't care what the other forum does. Maybe one day you'll take the time to read the FAQ's of BFC before you go posting stuff such as this. :rolleyes:

Yultuz, nothing is free. A website like this is very expensive to run. Each owner has his own ways of offsetting that cost. Here, we sell memberships, other websites sell ads. You really can't just pick out one element as if it didn't depend on the whole financial structure.
