Unapproved visitor message notification ?

I have an unapproved visitor message notification but I cant "turn it off"
If I click on it it just takes me to the visitor messages I already have and it still says I have 1 "notification" ?

I was left a lovely message that was edited for me by a Mod so I presume it has something to do with that.

Since the message was gone anyway, and visitor messages were only meant as quick contacts, not historical documents, I deleted it completely.

Next time you sign on (I hope) it should not show up at all on your notifications.
