At 17:50 I found my father dead.
Sucks.
God I hope your Family dont have to deal with that.
My Father had parkinson's and his last two years of life took away his pride.
Sorry today...as shity as it is...is a happy day.
My Father has his pride back!

My grandfather worked at a chemical plant and had Parkinsons. They say that people with a lot of chemical exposure are way more likely to get it. I know what you mean about the pride. He shook so bad he could hardly pick up anything. Really sucked.

Damn JJW... I'm awful sorry to hear of your father's passing. Parkinson's is a horrible disease - it took my Grammy. She was a classy, Harvard educated (PhD Chemistry), beautiful woman who's love knew no bounds. The disease made her so frail that she was severely restricted in what she could do. That's the hell of it... A sound mind and infirm body. The last time I saw her alive, she was in a coma. She didn't even look like my Grammy. It broke my heart. Take care of yourself. We're thinking of you.

Sorrow to hear of your dad's passing. We will keep you and yours in our thoughts and prayers.

My mother was a victim of Parkinsons disease too. She has been gone almost eight years now. It was hard watching her deteriorate. In the years before Parkinsons she could type 100 wpm on a manual typewriter. I guess the disease is not necessarily fatal itself. She fell real hard and didn't recover from that one. Took alot out of my Dad taking care of her those last years. He was there though. Not fun. My children never got to know the Mom I knew as a kid. :(
