Well, I made it back today but I'm weaker than a mouse so won't be able to do much for a little while.

I went to the hospital thinking I had a gut problem. Wrong. It was a heart attack. One artery was 100% blocked so had to have bypass surgery.

Interestingly, if this had happened in Nepal or on the plane I wouldn't be here today.

I did well in surgery and they prognosis is I'll be around for awhile but it will take some time to get back to speed.

52 years of heavy smoking did the trick. I've been clean about 10 days so guess I'll try to stay off the tobacco for awhile. I've got other things I need to get done besides smoking.

Thanks to all and sincere thanks for your prayers and well wishes. They did the trick!
