Uncle Bill, just wondering if it is possible to get a full tang 20" Sirupati with horn handle scales? I seen someones post a while back, but it seemed that there was no interest. I would like to see it because I think the full tang would make the 20" Sirupati more agile in hand. I like the current dimensions of the standard 20" Sirupati, but a full tang version would be ideal for me and maybe some other martial artists out there??

Broken arrow, I read one of your earlier posts about how you tested your sirupati on mats. I'm curious, how does it compare to a wakisashi? Does the forward curve slice as well as a backward one?

OMRie, The forward curve on the Khukuris didn't hamper the cutting of the tatami mats. A curved blade will cut better than a straight one. The thicker Khukuri should slow the cut down, but the weight of the blade, plus the snapping action gives it enough energy (momentum) to cut through easily.

Uncle, how much would it cost? Also, how long will it take? I would like to find out if it will cost alot or if there are other takers, then will the price be lower? Thanks in advance.
