Here is a "lightweight" Ang Khola Bowie made and marked by Sanu and it is the first one to be housed in a scabbard made by the sarki with no name. This Bowie is 15 inches overall, just a shade less than 1/2 inch max. thickness, and weighs 1 pound 10 oz.

The fit is excellent and the finish is magic stone mirror. Edge hardness is near 60 Rc with a softer tip. The scabbard is modeled after the Terry Sisco model and is made by the sarki with no name and tooled. The frog is the 100 year HI superfrog with a handle retainer strap which you can remove if you don't like it.

Beautifully shaped handle. Can't recall one that nicely done before.

Nor do I recall one with a dui chirra blade. Looks far better than the other way.

Very good work by Sanu...I think that he is getting close to Bura in terms of the quality of his work.

Yup. No one would have to work that handle down. Very nicely rounded!!
And I like what he did with the butt piece as well. It looks a bit flater than the one on the 1st. AK Bowie.
