...to the plot's association must be up to date
My Chitlangi left Reno at 0450 on 10/10, and arrived at my door at 1100 on 10/12 - Maybe he is hitchhiking on AF-1.
The sheath is embossed with what I call the "Dragon on the Water" - several I've received have this, and it is my favorite - looks like the dragon swimming over his reflection on a lake.
The Karda and Chakma are exceptional - best blades I've seen so far on the small pieces, and the Chakma handle has a carved design on the butt (to differentiate by feel?) while the Karda is smooth. Both have chos.
The knife - well, aside from my fancy UBE, this is the fanciest so far. The Dui Chirra blade is fascinating - nice to just sit and look at
Perfectly symetrical, shaving sharp, with good engaving and inlays along the sword of shiva. The bolster is checkered, next to the joint with the handle. The space between the rings, on the handle, is checkered. The butt cap will be perfect with just a tad of touch-up around the edges. The buttcap washer is embossed around the edges, like a milled coin. The handle is Saatisal, and needs oil...lots and lots of oil HEHEhehe. I knew from Yvsa's enthusiasm that this would be a keeper, and now I'm firmly in the Chitlangi Choir
OOOhHhhh Yes - Tsimi...It's a DURBA
