(Benefit of the doubt) Perhaps, he means that he is looking for a custom maker to make something similar in usage to one of the Boss's creations; specifically one of the "not in production for the foreseeable future" models... e.g. patrol machete? ??? :confused:

Perhaps this is what he meant but the way he asked it suggests otherwise.

Theres no way to know what the OP meant until he returns but maybe.
He wants a becker in some other steel imagine a bk 16 in VG10.
But unless Mr becker offered it I wouldn't buy it.
 
I think he is looking for someone who has good working knowledge of beckers . so he can have a knife made of his prefurred steel. or he want to pitch an idea of an upgraded Becker like the bk9 mk2.
 
Bk9 mk2 would be so awesome all other blades would turn away i shame lol but seriously I would buy it... Maybe twice or three times
 
Some clarification from the OP would be nice.
 
No ones trolling some members were shocked that you'd need another maker/designer to make a Becker
A equal number give some good reasons about what you may have wanted ( you didn't supply much info) Not criticizing. Just sayin
You last response is less than productive.
 
Most times if you give enough info in your firswt post you will get serious and educational answers.
But when you ask a question without enough info, people may misunderstand, or willfully lash out at you and on purpose misunderstand, just to get you to refrase your question. Or simply to push you to give more info.
A maker or inventor might take it the wrong way if someone asks: Hey, do you know of a guy who can make your product better than you?

I will give you the benefit of thinking you just missed to write what you really ment.
I hope what you are after are permission from Ethan to have a maker (one that Ethan approves of) to make you a Becker-like knife with some cind of upgrades or soescial steel. Maybe because you want something truely special, or maybe you need some other steel due to circumstances we do not know off...

I really do not think people in here are deliberately going at you, because the people I know in here are good people, who want the best for other forumites and makers...

probably not going to hurt to say that you want a Bk design in O1 or w/e steel you like.
