To anyone who may know. I am looking at a couple of 705UH knives. One says Schrade+ USA and has a file blade and a pen blade. The other says Scrade USA and has a scissors blade and a pen blade with a shakle in the rear bolster. Are one of the guys advertising wrong or could it be the older Schrade USA was that way and they changed it when they went to Schrade+ steel? Thanks, Matthew

#110058397264 is correct for a 705UH Chairman. #220051740265 is correct for a 707UH Gambler. Seller mis-read the tang, or it has a wrong master blade.

Thanks for the info Codger. I am sorry to have bothered you really. The answer was right on this forum. I just found it in Irvs web pages with all the pics of knives and there model numbers. I'm learning how to help myself-just takes some getting used to. T%hanks again ,Matthew

Don't apologize Matthew. It is never a bother to help a fellow Schradeophile identify knives when I can. I'm still learning too. I learn a bit more every time I search for an answer. As we all do. It is good that you and others are learning to use Larry's site, and the search features here too. Over time, most of us pick up a few reference books and old catalogs to help us along as well. We're always glad to share and spread the fever!:D

Just picked one of these up last week. NIB at a local gun store. Last two Schrade USA's they had... I got the 707UH with the Scisor for $24.00, and a 804 UH for $17.00. Never knew the 707 existed until I saw it. It's beautiful...

Here's a shot of my "Little Henry" Collection. They gladly escaped boxes and posed Thanksgiving morning on top of the dryer. Cute little guys!

In order clockwise clockwise from top left:
807UH J.R. Stockman
705UH Chairman (Thanks Codger for the nickname)
707UH Gambler (a $7.52 find on Ebay,plus shipping  )
804UH Journeyman
12UH Roadie
I'm still missing the 706UH. which is like the Journeyman, minus the keychain loop. Got a nickname for that one Codger?
I've found all of these since Sept. 1 this year
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

I guess I have to pay $$$ to post a picture.

Sorry, my Little Henry collection will have to wait to pose on the Internet.

Only made, according to Robert Clemente's book A Catalog History Of Schrade (Uncle Henry & Old Timer), from 1985-1988. His book is available direct at majormarket@charter.net and I highly recommend it to all Schrade collectors.

No, you can upload the pictures to tinypic.com or my own favorite hunt101.com and paste the urls here. But membership is a good idea, considering this forum has no factory sponsorship, and exists by the good graces of the site owners.
