The Uncle Henry 877UH is an interesting knife. Looks like a Muskrat with a guthook on one blade. I searched the forums and found one thread about them. Evidently, it makes a pretty good small game knife. Anybody have any idea about when these were in production? Also, which Schrade+ was used in them? Thanks, Vaquero

An interesting and very neat little knife. For all the hunting I do, I have never tried the little guthook, and hestitate to for it is such a rare knife. There is a member here who does a little trapping this time of year, we should have him test it.

This was in production for just two years, 1990-91. In modern Schrade terms, that is a very short run.

I do not know what Schrade + Stainless proprietory steel was used at that time.

Thanks for stopping in, don't be a stranger, Vaquero.

Last year about this time, I watched a few of these on ebay thinking they would be nice to add to the collection. I went for some other stuff instead and these went cheap at the time. If only I'd known....

Not exactly cheap but I think still relatively "fair" price, especially if it's really such a rare model -

doing a Froogle.com search on Scharde 877UH - I actually managed to find this on eBay:

Uncle Henry 877UH Pro Skinner Pocket Knife NEW

The listing says there are 3 available @ $29.99 (Buy-It-Now price) +$4.95 shipping....

Appreciate the good information. There have been several on e-bay for the past week or so, most by the same seller. As of this morning, there were still some available. Vaquero
