Guys have a question on the spring lockback bar post design...
I've noticed when I come across the LB5 Smokey Lockback this post had 2 different designs in it's production years.A tall round black post and the second being two thinner pieces of steel pressed together to equal the thickness for function.I'm also wondering if this post design differential will help roughly date to the era of when the knife was made.It was new/never sharpened but surface scratches on the rosewood scales so you see my curiosity. No packaging so the grade of the Plus Steel(stainless) is hard to date at this point.
