Uncle Henry LB8 questions

I was given an LB8 in the mid 80's that was serialized and had SCHARDE + on the tang. I have read that serialized knives were stopped sometime around 1985-6 but on occasion I will see a serialized LB8 with the Uncle Henry signature on the blade tang. I know that the signature knives were produced through the 90's but not sure if they were made anytime during the mid to late 80's. How can this be? I hear very little on the LB8 and if anyone actually has the elusive LB9 I would like to see a pic of it. Thanks as always for discussion.

Thanks for posting that beauty. From the position of the lock bar pivot pin it would appear this uses a round lock spring correct? Was the drop point blade made into a gut hook or are they different blades all together?
