Hello everyone. I was cleaning out my garage the other day and found a knife left behind by my father in law who past away a few years ago.

The knife is stamped on the blade "Uncle Henry Schrade+ LB7 USA".

I decided to do some research as the blade is in great shape and feels like decent quality, but I can't seem to find this knife with anything but a 5" blade listed. the problem is my LB7 has a 3.5" and I only found one on Ebay selling for around $95.00 but no info listed.

Just wondering if anyone new anything about the LB7 with a 3.5" blade and possible value or rarity of this knife.

I also am not familiar with Unlce Henry Schrade knives and am curious about their quality.

First post and thanks for any help.

Schrade that we all knew(USA Made) has long since been gone. The current company makes a few of the models that you see from foreign sources. As for the rarity, it is a little harder to find, but since many were produced, you can find them in antique/pawn shops and other members here. To me, these were well made knives on par with the Buck 110.

The LB7 in the closed position is 5". The blade depending how you measure it is around 3 1/2 inches. With the serial number the knife can be dated within a couple of years. Having one with a serial number makes it an early one and the most sought after.
