Go the itch to add another knife to my collection. I have several EDC knives so i wanted something beautiful or different. I was looking at some Kizer knives (Ki401C and the Ki4469A1). Does anyone have experience with Kizer or these knives or have any good recommendations?

It would help to know what you currently have so as to not repeat. Don't know much about Kizer because we don't sell them. Looks like a nice knife though. Let me know what you have and I will see what I can suggest.

Take a look at Brous Bionic XL at KSF. Can't say enough good things about mine, (especially after choil mod).

I had two of their early offerings, and they were very average. Now, it's a different story.

My Ki 4423 is the best production ball bearing flipper I've ever owned. It is both smooth and fast. Doesn't have an unnecessarily strong detent either.

Some knife porn:

Something beautiful and different are Mcusta's. Ive been thinking about getting one again. Really good for the money imo ($100-$150 range usually).

Another one not talked about a whole lot is a Enzo Birk 75. Small folder with a scandi grind. Dont see that with folders a whole lot.

Not much experience with Kizer. I had one for a short time and it seemed to be well made and was nicely finished. It was a bladehq exclusive one(i think the only model that was a bhq exclusive).

I have handled a few Kizers and I really wasn't too impressed with them. Have you considered an Al Mar Nomad? The Nomad blade is unique, but it is a solid knife with outstanding fit and finish, they cost around 200 dollars. I love mine and highly recommend it.

I bought one kizer because it was on sale for a great price (<$100) at knivecenter, and I wanted to try them out. I really like it. Well made in every aspect, especially for the price, so you could certainly do worse.

Steadmon is another company worth checking out, as well as MCusta and Maserin has made a couple nice folders with s35v blade.

Right in the same ballpark regarding price, and a similar color scheme as the kizers you mentioned, if that is influencing you, is the gray and blue benchmade Griptillian with a cpm-20cv (m390 equivalent) blade

Gayle Bradley 2, under $150, M4 steel, CF scales, made in a very good factory in a free democratic country for a highly respected manufacturer. It carries very well, M4 isn't all that rust prone (and easily prevented) and packs a lot of edge in a small package.

I dont own one, but the Kizer Guru seems to be a great option. Full ti, bearings, s35vn, etc..
The Kizer Rogue also looks nice

since you were looking at keizer, heres a nick shabazz review of one he liked

I can also recommend the Al Mar Nomad. Very comfortable in hand.
The Kizer T1 that Nick Shabazz reviewed...though I haven't seen the review yet, is one of the next knives on my wannit list, so I'd consider that one as well...not that my recommendation means anything. :)

Fwiw I have a bunch of Ti Kizers and the Ursa Minor is by far my favorite and most carried!

I do like the way the T1 looks like the Slysz Bowie - perhaps my all time favorite knife
