Playing with some Japanese Natural Stones and the microscope.

This edge will blow a shapton 30k out of the water IMO.
Look at the edge of the edge , perfectly straight , no nicks or chips. The blueish greenish speckled look is from the Jnats , they leave this kind of an effect. These tend to leave more of a matte or bead blasted finish as opposed to the bright mirror a high finish synthetic will.

The knife is a Maestro Wu 3.5" folder , this knife is made from carbon , ww2 era bombshells.

This was done on an EPP :)

Mud/water moderation on the EPP

PS. Don't mind the messy apartment , its had some major cleaning done since this picture was taken :)

thanks buddy. This is an edge more suitable for a sraight razor but its a special knife for me. And needless to say its sharp.

:D

Any chance we can see a zoomed out shot of it? I always love seeing your edges.
