Under The Shoulder Folder Rig

I got the under the shoulder folder rig so I could use the sheath to attach to my kayaking vest and carry my beloved CQC7BBT with me along for the ride. The rig came from the factory in a ziplock(no kidding) bag and no owners manual, is this normal? I noticed that there is quite a bit of holes in the sheath and plastic part attached to the actual shoulder rig for different configurations. Other than under the shoulder, what other configurations are there?

While I cannot tell you whether shipping the folder in a "ziploc" is normal, I can tell you you got a free knife condom out of the deal, so you should really be happy:D

Did you just order the rig? I ordered the rig from my Commander about two months ago and was told that they were out of stock and do not have any idea on the completion dates on the rig. I think I'd drop them a note to find out the status of my order :)

I got the under the shoulder folder rig in June of 01. I got it directly from the factory, i think i spoke to Ernest's wife to place the order.

Welcome. As to your inquiry, another member posted that he carried his knives in his pocket in a ziploc baggy, and the other members gave him a bad time about it, calling them knife condoms. Hence the joke.
