I forged this 7 1/2 inch blade months ago with no special plans. The forge was under a beautiful Magnolia tree where I work. It is of 5160 steel, stainless, bronze, and Ironwood. Kenny's working on a nice sheath for it now. Thanks for checking it out.

Love it. Nice sweep to the blade, stunning ironwood and that fileworked bronze spacer is just the right amount of embellishment for this one. Sweet knife.

Very nice Lin, I agree with John....the spacer is a real winner as well!

she is beautiful.

I have seen this knife in person and it feels as good as it looks. Really nice bowie and typical of Lin's work. Clean, clean. The spacer really caught my eye also. Good stuff.

one of the few knives that I've seen in the past year or so that I wished I could have.

I think the last one I saw that made me feel that way was Lin's mahogany bowie from a little while ago.

Man, you just have such a great eye for flow. My eyes just can't rest for long anywhere, or maybe I lose myself in the details. A good knife makes time stand still, which is weird because this one looks like it's moving a mile a minute. Some crazy cosmic time vortex resides in the same plane/space/whathaveyou as this fantastic knife.

Lin

That is a great knife

Very performance oriented with the sweep and belly in that blade

Truly a fav of mine from you

BTW

How's your bow season coming along

Great looking hunk of wood, love the spacer, fantastic overall form with just the right amount of spice. Really a standout!

AWESOME work Lin. I love that knife too! The spacer looks GREAT. To my eye, it looks like it is engraved and gold inlaid but tough to tell for sure from a picture.
