Underated Knife that needs some respect

I know this knife has never been talked about very much if any at all. I have a Buck Omni Hunter 12pt Lockblade. Let me say that this is a great knife and is as good or better than a Buck110. Its strong, light, and no wiggle in the blade whatsoever. Also it stays really sharp. I love that knife. The only thing I dont like about it is the sheath. I wish it was leather. Other than that, A great value. Oh and yes its American made.
 
Now Im feeling the heat! The 110 is a great knife, no doubt about it, and im not at all talking it down but I just think that Omni is as good. Sorry, I didnt mean to piss yall off. When I say the Omni may be a little better than the 110 is because of the tip. It seems to be less prone to breaking off. I would rather have the Omni in a survival situation over the 110. Thats just my opinion. If you like the 110 more then great. Im all for it. Like i said its a great knife. I just prefer the Omni as due to a stronger blade and lighter design to tote on your side all day. Oh and great lock up.
 
I agree with everything you have to say about the omni, especially in regards to the sheath which is poo, however if given the choice between the two i'd pick the 110 hands down. still the omni has some definite strong points.
 
Now you gone and did it:mad: Just kidding, sort of, the first knife that I got when I could buy one in a store was a Buck 110, and I still have it 17 years later. I imagine the same goes for a bunch here. Your treading on thin ice with this one;)
 
Well I have owned a 110 myself and loved it dearly. I still do. I bought a Omni hunter not expecting much until I tried it out and WOW its a great knife. I, like yall, were skeptical, but I put the 2 side by side and just weighed the difference. The 110 is a classic Ill go along with that but all Im asking is give that Omni a try for yourself and I belive youll see what Im talking about. It locks up strong as I have ever seen a knife do. The blade is as thick or thicker and Its lighter in design. Tote one of each all day and use them both like I have and then tell me what you think. I was amazed. Lets just say this. If the Omni is not better, then its up there with the 110, IMO. I just think its an underated knife that needs some respect. Dont Hate me.......
