I’m hoping someone (or more) can give some info on this tool I found at an estate sale today. You can see in one of the pictures it says “Edge Tool, Nashua, NH”. When I looked it up, there looks to have been a company called “Underhill Edge Tool Co.” in Nashua, NH. There also seems to maybe have a “R” stamped on the underside close to the head wall. I would be interested in knowing what the pointed end was used for, starting a hole or for locating a hole? I’m also guessing it might be a Framing Adze. Any info and estimates on what it might be worth is appreciated, thank, Tim.
