Posting here due to larger traffic!
I got an email from my friend Fanny, and less than an hour later another with the same title as this thread (but without the "hoax" part).
It was not her "handwriting" (her English ain't that great) and she didn't sign it, so I was suspicious.
I called a computer guy from my work who knows his stuff and he told me it was a hoax. If you follow all the directions to get rid of the
jdbgmgr.exe
"virus" then you will be deleting a valid file on your own computer!
DO NOT FALL FOR THIS! My computer guy also said you could look this up at www.truthorfiction.com
Yea! I'm not even a computer person and I escaped the trap!
