Uneven contact wheel

I bought a 5" contact wheel.

I know I shouldn't expect the perfect flatness on the context wheel. But I thought it was not normal and asked the manufacturer. They told me this was not a problem.

I think this is a problem but I think I might be wrong. So I want to hear your opinion.

For all practical purposes, I doubt you'll notice much affect. Wheels wear as you use them anyway. You could try to true it up, but the juice isn't worth the squeeze, IMO. As long as the wheel runs true, I'd use it.
