Unexpected generosity

So a certain individual was talking about his pioneer x and how much he disliked the keyring...he made a comment (in what I thought was jest) about just gonna get rid of it
And my sarcastic self said something along the lines of "hook a brother up"
Much to my chagrin and surprise I got an email asking for my mailing address

So I wanna publicly thank a mr StuntDouble StuntDouble for his generous gift
In addition he is refusing my offer to send him SOMETHING in return saying that I was doing him a favor by helping him clear out some of the collection that was sitting around

I been at work all day but I snapped a quick pic
Also the dang awl of all things has already nipped the crap out of me and thus I am bloodied

I would have just cut of the key ring ive done that to lots of them.

I tried to buy one tonight but the gentleman kept bumping the price up. :oops:

There's a lot of great generous people around here, and this forum brings it out in people.
I suppose that's just how it goes when you're enjoying your hobby with others, and that hobby happens to be something like knives which are often small and relatively inexpensive to mail.

I'm with Johnny here. Your mention of an awl that bit you and the photo showing scissors made me think that it's not a Vic Cadet.

What Steve says makes more sense to me, since you showed a scissors. Your thumb is in the way on the photo so I couldn't see the placement of the center pin, which is almost even with the bottom of the "shield" on a Cadet, but farther down on the larger Alox models.
