Well, I just opened my USPS box and lo and behold, Strider Tanto Folder #097.

All I have to say is this:

This IS the #1 hard-use folder made...period. There really is nothing like it out there.

I thought I was going to have to wait several more months, but what a surprise. Totally made my week!

This knife defines the term "tactical-folder" It is about as tactical as tactical could ever be.

I first actually got to handle one at the So Cal knife expo. I also met Duane there and the knife was his personal one. It is amazing that a maker of these type of knives also has a profound interest of traditional Japanese blades...

Great knife from a great buch of guys.

I kinda like it too. Did you get the kydex belt clip? You'll like the knife 50% more with the belt clip. We should charge $30 for the knife and $350 for the belt clip.
Give us an update in a week or two.

I ordered tanto #085 on Feb. 28th. I'm hoping to get a package soon, but the estimated delivery date isn't until May so I'm trying to be patient.
 
I gotta jump on this bandwagon, too! Just got Tanto folder #18 (to life!) and its just as much fun as the spearpoint! All kidding aside, I really feel it is a category unto itself - I've never had a custom folder like it in my life. Kinda seems obvious now, but nobody ever did it before.
