hey everyone, i was talking to eric from OAS tactical, and he told me about the Unigrinder and told me it was from Jim Downie, well to be honest i really cant find the damn thing and i was wondering if anyone here has heard of it and can tell me about it and suggest a web site or page or contact etc to find it

incase you are wondering this is NOT the unigrinder that i am thinking of

Unigrinder that is not what i was thinking of

The one you DON'T think is the right one is the only one I have ever seen w/ that name. I made one a couple of yrs ago and love it.

Hey Armless..

The multi-tool is the one I was refering to...

Not sure where I got the name Uni-Grinder....

Please excuse my ignorance I'm a sheath maker, not a knife maker and know $hit about knife making grinders..:)

My Unigrinder tracks like a rock w/o any movement at all w/ an 8" wheel, 14" long platen, and small wheels. The tracking/tensioner moves forward and backwards to tighten the belts and goes slightly over center so it will stay in position. There is no side to side slop in the arm so the machine tracks well.
