I've had this guy on my game camera five different days in the last three weeks or so. Always in daylight, too. I've never had a dog on a pattern before, and I've never seen one with this many cool colors. Thought someone might enjoy.

Some good color there, I wonder if there is some hybrid action going?

Ha, my wife just looked over my shoulder and thought that was too handsome to be a coyote...
Nice coat but looks straight yote to me. Must be good genes!

I'm pretty sure he's straight yote. They can be, although its not typical, anything from what you and I know as "coyote color" to black, blonde, red, etc. I had one skirt by me in this area last year that was really dark. Not black, but looked it at first glance.

I think he's all yodel dog, just a little blessed in the looks department.

Pulled that camera card. Had him two more times - that makes 7 days on cam in less than a month. Been hearing them sound off not far away and consistently from the same spot. I'm thinking there's a den and this is part of Dads daily hunt routine.

I'm going to try to take this dog - I'm sure if I poke around I could find a den. But in my experience they'll relocate if I do that, after they see me or more likely smell that I was around. So, I'm going to set a stand in a tree near where I'm getting these pics, wait for a day with the right wind, and grab my bow and so some calling.

If this doesnt work, I will set out to find the den and drive them out. Fawns will be dropped soon, and that boy looks pretty capable as a fawn eater.
