Not sure what this wood is just yet. I recieved it and another type that I'll post tomorrow from the buyer of these. Very nice look in this package! Knife is made from D2 and is 6" overall. I'll have better pictures tomorrow I am hoping :)

That's a nice looking blade! Looks like desert ironwood to me...
 
Its some local wood. Ill find out what it is from the buyer.
 
The darker wood is Honduras Rosewood Burl from Belize South America and the
other is Chitum Burl from Northern Huntsville Alabama (Only grown in 2 spots
in the USA, this is one of them. Cannot wait to get this knives, we hope to
get these soon as our new web site goes live in a few weeks!

I'd like to see the Chitum Burl, never heard of that. Definitely nice work on your part!

Beautiful wood Brian but D2? I thought you only used O1 you going to the Dark side?
 
Ha ha. I use D2 sometimes :) its all good LOL!!! :)
