Don't let the appearance deceive you, this is not a cleaver, rather, it's a fighter. Both the bevels and the flats are hollow ground, reducing this 12" blade to less than a pound. The POB is two inches in front of the guard, and the tip is sharpened up to the spine. This is a devastating chopper and stabber. It's a fast well balanced blade with plenty of power.

Hi Chief!
How have you been?
It looks like you have been busy!
That's a remarkable piece of skill there boss!
Great looking knife!
I hope all is I well with you & yours!

Thanks a lot. Yeah, I've been busy as heck. All's well here, my friend.

Very nice job David, I really like the file work on the blade.

Very menacing! Beautiful work--it looks like a combat meat cleaver from hell, with a section of the devil's shin bone for a handle!

Very cool and vicious looking design David. Love both the blade shape and the way the handle turned out. I don't know why, but when i saw it i immediately pictured it in the hand of a rough looking guy with an eyepatch, swinging from a rope onto the deck of a ship.

Thanks, I guess it does look a bit like a pirate blade. I'm still experimenting with it a bit, I can't decide what, if any, type of guard to put on it before I post it up for sale.
