Sorry to take up the forums with all my topics but things just keep popping up in my head. Anyway I remember a while ago seeing someone who had posted about a Japanese? holster. It looked really cool and all but very complex. Anyway I was wondering if anyone had pics of their unique sheaths or holsters? Especialy that one.

Hey, I posted that thread, But I've yet to find out any more on those sheaths.

I use my inverted V sheath from clay daily, and my neck sheath sparingly (whenever I'm not wearing a belt), But I'd love to get one of those leather sheaths...

The G2 sheaths are pretty... how did you get yours?

The pictures are great, and the sheaths likewise, I just didn't see anything indicating how to buy them (if they were for sale)

Yah, hey Blade420 do you have the link to that sheath's picture. I am trying to get a large collection of bali and acceserie pics.

Here's a couple of sheaths, all different, but original. I've got a special bali coming this week and I've also got my shoulder harness/sheath set-up from Clay and a kick-a$$ IWB sheath that he made, too. I'll get some pictures this weekend for all to see...

Blade, thanks for that pic link.As soon as I can get some extra leather to play with,I think I'll try to make something similiar.
That is a *very* nice design...I hope I can figure out just how they did everything.

I am thinking of some different designs for leather sheaths to carry balisongs in.Of course I'll try to make something that would be very inconspicuous..but I can't say they'd be really great works.I'm still a novice at leatherwork..so everything I do looks a bit rough.Fortunately, the stuff I normally do looks "authemtic" for what it's used for...renaissance festivals

There, anything that looks handmade (without looking absolutely perfect) is "period"...as long as the item type existed during that time period.
