I am interested to know if anyone has tried this particular sharpening system. It is made by Ruixin (a Chinese company) and I am not even sure if it has a model name. I do not believe it is a copy or a clone, but rather a unique system that obviously borrows elements of both the Apex Pro and KME. Just curious if anyone has any experience with this unit.

It has several design elements that appeal to me. The ability to clamp the knife in place being the biggest.

I have seen it listed as low as $24, shipped. Though be warned; the included stones are allegedly not great.

To me it looks like every important aspect is that of the Edge Pro. The superficial differences just serve to highlight the obvious similarities.

Have seen similar products, but this one looks good. For the bargain price of the "housing" one can always replace the stones if you are not happy.
