I'm a curious person by nature. I'm fascinated by simple things, for example I once watched a black hornet dig a hole in the ground, kill a caterpillar, drag the caterpillar into the hole I assume to lay her eggs in it.. then to just bury the whole thing and fly off. yes I could not focus on anything else the whole time.
That brings me to my question. Frame locks seem to dominate the market in the knife world and seems the knife world is in a slump. its stuck in frame lock territory even though it seems that as artistic and innovative and some knife makers are there would be lots more pushing the barrier as to what type of locking system appear in the market. Take for example the Ti lock from CRK its definitely unique. what other unique locking mechanisms are there? I feel like the knife world is a lot the rifle world all running on the same old Remington action in different dresses. what think you gents...and what cool locking systems have you come across in the knife world?
