I will soon be aquiring this one-of-a-kind MT LUDT. But...I'm not a gold memeber so I cannot post a pic, at least I don't think I can...so, email me if you want to see it. It's a blue handle, Ti-N coated two-tone blade.

I've seen some UDT (Large size I think) that has different colors. Might not be a one-of-a-kind Microtech. Check with someone else.

A couple years ago, I was very interested in Microtech knives. Then I 'collected' them. During my collecting period, I knew that Microtech was making UDT in different handles' color; red, green, blue, purple, etc. They were not one of a kind, they were production. The prices were a bit higher than the regular one. So, I was thinking yours might be from that period, thus it's not a one of a kind knife. I'm not sure because I do not really remember. Just don't wanna see you being misled. You should check it with Microtech first. Beside, my T10 black and tan is way cooler than that hehehehehe :D j/k brudda

Here is a picture of some nice L-UDTs with colored handles.

JediKnight86 is correct; it is a one of a kind.

The black hardware was added by one of the workers at Microtech.

I thought about buying it when it first went on sale.

I don't believe the box says with black hardware or I would have bought it, but it is a beautiful L-UDT. :)

Is the blade black or two-tone; what does the box say?

Ira, the blade should have #1965 6/2001 on it. ;)

Here is some additional information.

First time I'm posting here, so greetings all.

I'm the current owner of the "one-of" Blue LUDT. It is indeed the one described by RGRAY. I'll send a current pic to beluga to post.

Thanks,
Rich

Hello again,

To answer Rick's question, the box is unlabeled (standard LUDT box, but with no markings whatsoever).

The blade has stonewash flats and satin grinds, all under a black finish (titanium nitride I think).

It's still available.

Thanks again,
Rich
