uh, buy one?

What do you mean, buy a normal unique, or buy a unique that you have designed?
 
Yes, but I do enjoy going to CRK's site every month to see what Lisa has picked for the month. :thumbup:
 
You can check out knife purveyors on the web. They usually have a pretty decent selection of Unique Graphics. Also check out the For Sale Forum here. They show up quite regulary.
 
You can also call CRK and they will make one for you if you can give them an idea what you want.;)
 
Scott Dog, do you have any idea how much a "special order" would be? Hmmm, now I'm thinking I should maybe get a small commemorative for the recent birth of my daughter.... Hmmm... Anyone know if you can get text in addition to graphics?
 
No I'm not sure of the price but I do know that they will work with you on the design to get you something special. I would think that the price would be similar to the price of uniques that you would find at retailers. Of course the price would depend on the complexity of the design and any options you want such as inlayed gems etc. Sounds like a cool idea.:thumbup:
 
From what I learned over at Jerzeedevil is if you are having a unique design done, they make them in batches of five which is the minimum order.

If they do a 'special' for you (one sebenza), please report back with the details.
 
I think the jerzee devil is more of a computer generated graphic reapeatable type similar to the dog paws offered by Plaza Cutlery. I know CRK has done uniques for customer specifics. A call to the good folks at CRK would be the best way to get the info.:)
 
As a few people mentioned, call the shop. They did a unique for me. I spoke with the shop, described what I wanted, found out they could do it, gave me an "estimated" date (it's not an exact one) and did a great job. Price will depend on what you want (I had the NY Skyline done with the Empire State building and some engraving on the handle of a Large Sebeza). My guess is you'll come in somewhere in the $500-$600 range, but there's no sense speculating when a simple call will give you the exact details.
