I met Jim at Blade. He is a very nice, disabled veteran and did not deserve this treatment. His service dog Sarge didn't either. Please watch the video and email United if you have the time.

I feel the individuals in question need some serious "tuning up" This type of behavior is unexcusable.

That is beyond unacceptable actions by those individuals. I know that it's not the majority, but the minority of people can smear a companies name quickly.

Making a YouTube video about 2 employees kicking his service dog is not the proper action. Dragging those 2 to a supervisor.... filing a police report.....hiring a laywer to sue united are actions that should have been done. Same for the employee who called him retarded.

My daughter has reposted this video on her blog and every forum she goes to in hopes of getting the word out there about what has happened with this matter i hope it helps

We will never fly United Airlines again and will tell everybody we know not to either.

My wife and I are involved in animal rescue and understand why you are upset with this situation and treatment of your service dog.

Personally I have doubts about some of this ... two employees kick his dog because they are suprised by it ? One of them a woman ? And he does'nt go nuts over them kicking his dog ? Not even getting their names ?

I find it hard to believe that his dog was kicked twice because people were suprised by it ... that is'nt a natural reaction ... and who would do nothing about it at the time ?

Anyway ... as to why the video has been done I am not going to comment ... but the story just does'nt hang together for me ...

Not trying to be funny or cause an arguement ... just my opinion or "doubts" to be more accurate ...

Especially with severe PTSD....... I didn't want to cast doubt openly in this thread BUT some of this sounds "suspect"....
I have never heard of folks first reaction is to kick a dog when startled and then for him just to let it go...... I just don't know. Another thing is he wasnt treated poorly because he is a disabled vet.... He just happens to be a vet and was treated poorly by a few folks. I'm gonna stop before I really start getting into this ........

My wife and I do rescue work, and I've seen plenty of really awful cases where I live of people killing, torturing and hurting animals just because they thought it was funny or because they thought it was a cool thing to do.

You should see some of the cases, too disgusting for words.

There is no doubt in my mind that people like that work in all walks of life, even airports.

Jim has his share of issues from his deployments, but after talking to him in person, you can tell that he has worked very hard on his self-control.

I would've kicked someone who kicked my dog, but then I would've been taken into TSA custody, I'm sure.

I don't think he's making this up. He doesn't know that those people were startled and thus kicked his dog, Sarge. He's giving them the benefit of the doubt that they aren't complete jerks and rationalizing their mistreatment of his dog.

I have seen some awful things happen when people do not notice or care about others who are elderly or disabled .I don`t really know what I would have done if I was him ,I am sure I would have gotten arrested. Had I witnessed any of the things he talks about in person, I would have had the end of the world come down on those people from calling the local police for the assault on his dog to talking to everyone from United customer service to the airport management all the way to the governors office.

I hate to do it, but it has been brought to my attention that this thread qualifies as a solicitation and that solicitation threads are not allowed on BladeForums for the most part.

In this case, the video is the link and the request is to email United Airlines. I have to lock it.
-TNT-, you can try appealing to Spark to allow this thread to be reopened. If he agrees, I will reopen this thread.
