No, it's not a BK2. It's a United. :D

I've seen a few of this line around, especially in Bud-K catalogs. They seem to copy Ethan's designs pretty closely, but not close enough to get in trouble for it.

I saw United Cutlery's version of the BK7 at a flea market here. The seller wanted $50. for it, and as I explained what it was, and what & who the design was ripped off from, he dropped the price several times until it was down to $15. I told him I'd take it and throw it away for him if he gave me a dollar. He cussed at me in another language. His girlfriend blushed.

I don't think I'm getting a Christmas card from him this year. :(

ps - Long Live BK&T! May the copycats, cheats, and copyright weasels get the mange and die shivering & hairless.

heh, good story!
Got acquanted with a counterfeit dealer at ours, he refused to believe any of his knives were counterfeit until I showed him mine. One was a Ka-Bar Fin folder, and one was a 1217 (satin blade, full serrated, MOLLE sheath)

That thing eat your baton up.

Doesn't look much like a BK2 forward of the handle.

It's black.
It's about the same length.

The blade similarity ends there.

Just a big black ugly knife.

That description kind of covers a lot of junk knives.
